GRADE: Vanilla Beans/Pods Grade A
Our Grade A vanilla beans are the best for cooking and baking. All the beans are fleshy and 6-9 inches (15-23 cm) long. Further, we use the Bourbon method to produce these Vanilla beans.
These vanilla beans are sweet, creamy, and aromatic. And, they are 30-35% of moisture content.
At Acril Tea, we supply certified Organic Vanilla beans (USDA, EU, and JAS), as well as conventional Vanilla beans in Sri Lanka. However, we never use artificial fertilizers in our vanilla estates and it is not necessary to grow a vanilla plant
How to identify good quality Vanilla beans
- Check vanilla smell – sweet, creamy and aromatic
- Color – Dark brown or black color, Soft/Shiny oily surface on the beans and flexible.
- Easy to roll between your two fingers – You should be able to tie a knot without breaking the bean. If it breaks, that’s because the bean is too dry. Do the test and select the best beans!
