Moringa tea is one of the unique herbs in Sri Lanka. It is a superfood rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and other nutrients like calcium, essential amino acids, and iron that are beneficial to the human body.
The moringa leaves, bark, flowers, fruit, seeds, and roots blend to make this herbal tea. Also, moringa is known as the “miracle tree,” which has many medicinal values. According to Ayurveda, about 300 diseases can be cured with the help of various parts of this tree.
Diabetes, heart disease, anemia, arthritis, liver disease, respiratory, skin, digestive disorders, venomous bites, and many other conditions.
In Sri Lanka, moringa grows in tropical and sub-tropical regions.
How to Make It: Use about 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup. Then, add 250ml of boiled water and steep for about 5 minutes.
