English Breakfast tea is one of the most popular tea blends in Sri Lanka. Our expert tea masters balance malty Ceylon tea from different growing regions to create a blend that’s both invigorating and comforting.
Furthermore, our special blend of breakfast tea gives you a full-bodied and bright cup to start your day fresh. In addition, this is an excellent tea grade with milk and sugar, or with a slice of lemon.
And, we use high-grown, low-grown, and UVA teas to produce our leafy-type breakfast tea.

The History of Breakfast Tea
Breakfast tea was invented in Edinburgh, Scotland. A tea master by the name of Drysdale came up with the idea of marketing his blend as “Breakfast Tea.” The concept soon spread to England. Then it became English Breakfast tea.
