Moringa and benefits

Because of its nutrition, Moringa has a reputation of legendary proportions. The botanical name is “Moringa Oleifera.” It grows in Southeast Asia (Sri Lanka) and Africa. Further, moringa tea, brewed from the leaves of the Moringa tree, presents a healthful infusion with a refreshing taste and numerous benefits.

In Sri Lanka, moringa is grown in the dry zone where the temperature is high, and it is a perennial plant growing up to four to five meters. There is no such insect attack when it comes to this plant. No insecticides or pesticides are needed, so there is food security.

We can use Moringa as a vegetable or as tea. Most people prefer to drink it as tea.
